We are excited to announce the release of several powerful new features and updates to the Observ Service, designed to enhance performance and functionality for all users.
Streaming Pipeline with GPU Decode:
The streaming pipeline now supports GPU decoding, leveraging GPU acceleration to decode streams more efficiently. This enhancement significantly reduces the dependency on CPU resources, allowing for smoother and more reliable streaming performance.
Download Event Image/Video Directly:
You can now download images or videos directly from events. This new feature allows for quick and easy access to visual data, streamlining the process of reviewing and managing event content.
API with ID in GET Parameters:
Observ now supports APIs that allow you to retrieve event data using IDs in the GET parameters. This provides a more efficient and straightforward way to access specific event/task/camera/location information, making integration with external systems even smoother.
Updated General Model:
We've enhanced our general detection model by incorporating more training data, resulting in a significant improvement in scene detection accuracy. This update ensures more reliable and precise detection across various scenarios.
Event Assistant (Beta):
In the near future, you can interact with Event Assistant to quickly access information about all past events. This feature utilizes a Large Language Model (LLM) to rapidly identify and retrieve target events, making event management more intuitive and efficient.
