We're starting the year with powerful new features in Observ Service to enhance detection capabilities and introduce smart functionalities for traffic management and event analysis.
Future updates will include batch capabilities for creating, editing camera tasks and bulk download events, making it easier to manage multiple camera setups simultaneously.
Observ now supports advanced smart traffic detection features, enabling more intelligent monitoring and management of traffic scenarios:
Smart Traffic Tasks with Calibration: Create detailed maps of traffic areas, including intersections and camera calibrations.
Traffic Flow Detection: Monitor intersection and roadway traffic to gain actionable insights into flow patterns.
Event-Specific Detection: Automatically identify critical traffic events such as speeding, stopping, or abnormal driving behavior.
Event VLM Detection (Bata):
Observ now integrates Visual Language Model (VLM) capabilities for event detection, allowing deeper analysis of detected events.
For example, when detecting fire or smoke, the VLM can further analyze the scene to determine potential fire hazards, check for the presence of emergency personnel, and assess the situation for safety risks.
VLM Sampling Strategy for Detection:
A new feature to improve VLM performance through optimized sampling strategies. This will enhance accuracy and efficiency in detecting and analyzing complex scenarios.
