Virtual Fencing

VisionAI Observ offers virtual fencing, triggering an event if a person or vehicle is detected within the user-specified restricted area.

Independent Event Description and Settings

When selecting a scenario for your task, choose 'Virtual Fencing' for either a person or vehicle.*

These scenarios have predefined event types, allowing you to select one or more for your detection task. Below are the events included in these scenarios:

  1. Person Detected: A person has crossed into a predefined restricted area.

  2. Any Vehicle Detected: A vehicle of any kind, including cars, buses, trucks, motorcycles, and bicycles, has entered a predefined restricted area.

  3. Car Detected: A car has entered a predefined restricted area.

  4. Truck or Bus Detected: A truck or bus has entered a predefined restricted area.

  5. Motorcycle Detected: A motorcycle has entered a predefined restricted area.

  6. Bicycle Detected: A bicycle has entered a predefined restricted area.

After creating the task, the following settings need to be configured for the detection items mentioned above:

  • Set the event area: Creating any of the above events also creates a zone called 'Restricted Area.' The boundaries of this area must be manually drawn out by the user in the camera view (Refer to section: Event zone).

  • Adjust parameters for each event: Customize event detection by adjusting the minimum detecting duration for a confirmed breach, the event monitoring interval, and the sensitivity of the detecting threshold (Refer to section: Event parameters).

* Additional virtual fencing cases for animals and specialized service vehicles are also available for selection. Outlined in the image are the specific vehicles available for detection, whereas animals can be identified in a general manner without specifying the kind or species.
