December Updates
This update brings smarter data curation, more flexible post-import processing, and a major upgrade to auto-tagging powered by VLM. Each feature is designed to help you manage large datasets more intelligently and efficiently.
New Features
Video Curation
You can now upload full videos, and the system will automatically split them into clips and evaluate each segment to decide whether it contains important visual features worth keeping. Perfect for handling large volumes of repetitive footage, such as surveillance or time-lapse data—keeping only the valuable parts for downstream use.

✅ Usage: Motion Similarity Settings & Saving Results
When enabling Video Curation, you can configure motion similarity parameters to control how the system evaluates which clips contain meaningful changes. After the filtering process is complete, the selected clips can be saved directly into any Project you choose for downstream annotation or model training.
✅ SDK Support for Video Upload
Video Curation now supports uploading videos and creating curation tasks through the SDK, making it easier to integrate into automated workflows or custom pipelines.
Data Slice with IQA
You can now run IQA (Image Quality Assessment) directly within any data slice — even if IQA wasn’t executed during the initial import. This makes it easier to recheck image quality, filter blur samples, and prepare clean subsets for training or annotation.
Auto-Tagging Powered by VLM
Auto-tagging is now supported by Vision-Language Models (VLM) with full prompt customization. You can define your own text prompt to guide the tagging logic.

The system will automatically attach the generated labels to each image’s metadata, helping you organize data at scale with minimal manual effort.
