Once the task is created, users in this workspace must be assigned to execute labeling or reviewing works in this task.
Click "Assign Manpower" and assign labelers or reviewers in the pop-out. You may specify his/her Profession to be a labeler or reviewer, and you may switch professions later.
The user and their profession will be displayed on this page after the assignment is done.
There are two professions in an annotation task: labeler and reviewer. Please note that:
It's important to note that the profession is independent of the Role (e.g., Owner, Admin, Member, or Specialist). This means that regardless of their role in DataVerse, every user in this workspace is valuable and can be assigned as a labeler or reviewer. This flexibility allows for a dynamic and efficient workflow.
The profession is bound to each annotation task. A user can be a labeler in one task but a reviewer in another.
The profession is switchable during the task.
You can edit the manpower by clicking "Edit" in each row, where you can switch user's profession.
Before switching the profession, make sure that there is no files in the rework flow and queue at the station corresponding to his/her current professions.
In addition, the admin can also use "release work" so that those files worked by this labeler'/reviewer's in rework flow will be dispatched to other labeler/reviewer. This will ensure the task will not be hurdled by someone's temporary absence.
